Our tour begins with cruise terminal (hotel) pickup and driving straight to Dubrovnik Old Town for a private Dubrovnik Old Town guided walking tour

DUBROVNIK CITY TOUR: Our regular private walking tour lasts 1,5 hours. During this time the tour covers all major sites in the Old City. Most interesting are Franciscan and Dominican churches and monasteries, Great and Small Onofrio’s fountain, Main Street – Stradun, Orlando’s Column, Bell Tower, Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace, Old Farmers’ Market, Cathedral, St. Blasé church and 15. ct. Old City Port. During the tour, we do our best to present to you the history and contemporary life in Dubrovnik starting from 7. ct through more than its 1300 years of struggle for independence. Dubrovnik survived protecting its freedom through sieges, disease, natural disasters, and wars up to the last Homeland War of 1991-1995.

Free time in Dubrovnik (1 hour -1:30 min) to do additional sightseeing, shopping, or walking the Dubrovnik City Walls

Boarding the vehicle at Pile gate and climbing to the slopes of Srdj Mountain – a spectacular panoramic photo stop of Dubrovnik Old Town (only private tours go to the slopes of the mountain Srdj). All coach tours stop at much lower and further along viewpoint sites.

After marveling at the beauty of the Old City of Dubrovnik, the island of Lokrum, and the overall panorama (from Srdj one can see Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Montenegro), we continue south to the most southern Croatian region of Konavle.

The valley of Konavle is the most south-eastern part of Croatia known for its lush valley, fertile slopes, and hard-working people. We will stop At the Djivanovic family estate , along the LJuta river, where ladies wearing traditional clothes will serve you local liqueurs and sweets and take you to a live demonstration of the 500-year-old family watermill and wool fulling station (all water-powered).

Stopping for traditional lunch (optional and at guests' own expense) in Konoba Vinica or Konavoski Dvori restaurant for some of the finest delicacies of the area (homemade bread, prosciutto, and cheese, trout from Ljuta River or veal and lamb traditionally prepared under the iron bell, and local desserts (instead of lunch we can organize wine tasting with a snack at a local winery or just continue with the trip)

Passing alongside small Konavle villages, all destroyed in Croatia’s Homeland War (1991-1992) but all rebuilt and their beauty restored, we arrive at the small medieval city of Cavtat. Once a town of rich ship-owners and captains today is a favorite destination for the world’s yacht jet set.

Your private party would stroll through Cavtat center, stop for coffee or ice cream, and then drive back to Dubrovnik. In Cavtat, we will also visit Our Lady of the Snow, a church with stunning Renaissance paintings done by local masters.

After Cavtat, we drive back towards Dubrovnik cruise terminal – cruise terminal drop off/ end of tour!
